Story
Since 1947...
The story of Santisi & Bove begins at the turn of the century. Beatrice Pisco, age 10 would arrive in America from Sicily alongside her mother and her father- a trained jeweler back in the "old Country." Years later, "Bea" would marry Frank Santisi, and together have 8 children. In 1947, just home from WWII, Bea's son Frank Jr. , along with another young Italian man from Somerville- John Bove- would establish Santisi & Bove, in, what would become the "Jeweler's Building" of Boston.
Over the course of the next ten years Frank and John’s successors would join the business as “stock boys”: John Sullivan (Sully) in 1951 and Frank’s nephew Ken Seacrist in 1961. The family tradition continued when Ken’s daughter, Kimberley Seacrist joined the business in 2001.
Today, 76 years later we are still nestled on the 4th floor of the Jeweler’s Building, in our original location, and are proudly serving the children, grandchildren and even the great-grandchildren of Frank and John’s original customers.
